Affiliate disclosure
Plain words about the book links you'll find on Midan Shady Sphere.
We are a Bookshop.org affiliate
Midan Shady Sphere is an affiliate of Bookshop.org (affiliate #130235). Some links on our blog and lessons point to books on Bookshop.org.
If you buy a book through one of those links, we earn a small commission. It does not change the price you pay.
Why Bookshop.org
Bookshop.org supports independent bookstores. A share of every sale goes to local, independent shops, so your purchase helps keep neighborhood bookstores open.
How we choose what to recommend
We only recommend books we think are genuinely useful for language, culture and life skills. A commission never decides what we write about or how we describe it. We are not paid for reviews, and any sponsored content will be clearly labeled as sponsored.
FTC disclosure
In line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 CFR Part 255): Midan Shady Sphere may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through affiliate links on this site. Posts that contain affiliate links say so.
